Calibre Audio provide a free audiobook lending service for all children and young adults under 18 years who have a print disability.

We believe everyone has the right to read, in the way that suits them.

Books entertain us, comfort us, help us learn, and connect us to the world and to each other. When print is a barrier, an accessible format such as audio can ensure those benefits are available to all. That’s why everything we do is about making reading accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for all. We provide an audiobook lending service to anyone with a print disability.

We campaign alongside our partners for inclusivity. We are already members of the Right to Read Alliance, the DAISY Consortium, Share the Vision and the Literacy Link.

We feel joining the Alliance for Inclusive Literacy will further help us to raise awareness of accessible formats and inclusive approaches, so that together we can ensure all children are taught to read and write.
