Every Cherry

Every Cherry is an award-winning publishing house, bringing high-quality reading material to people with a range of learning disabilities and supports readers who require an easier step into reading. We aim to break down the barriers to reading in many different ways, meeting readers where they are through symbolised texts, sensory stories, and so much more! We understand that reading can be challenging, but we strive to open the door to magical texts in pioneering ways, such as offering free audio books and signed videos with every title. 

We published our first accessible range of books in May 2023. Since then our titles have gained global acclaim. We have contributed to winning many awards in the publishing world, such as The British Book Awards' Small Press of the Year (2025) and the IPG's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award (2025). 

Emma Steel works as the Head of Every Cherry. Her 17 years of teaching experience in the SEND sector drives Every Cherry. Her experience, network and commitment have provided our range of books with a specialist approach, fed by the SEND community and years of teaching literacy to many young people. 

We are thrilled to be members of the Alliance for Inclusive Literacy. We believe that everyone deserves to have access to the magical world of reading and hope our contribution to the Alliance can really help this aim come to fruition.
